Auto-->Manual Tranny Swap?
this question was brought about by a recent issue with my automatic in this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116/auto-tranny-dying-115552/
i've always wished that my 3.0 had a manual behind it be it seemed out of the question. what is actually involved with switching a manual tranny?
-clutch pedal?
-will the auto transmission mounts fit?
-will the transfer case match up properly?
etc
thanks in advance.

There is no real, separate xfer case.
You'll need the xfer case and the manual tranny.
BTW, why would you want to do this (so I don't have to go digging through the other thread).

well i don't know that it'd actually be feasible for me, but i'd much rather have a manual over an automatic. i haven't driven a manual 3.0 but i'll be you don't lose a ton of power like you do w/ an automatic.
