1993 Toy 4x4 V6 SR5 Truck probs...

I'm experiencing varying idle speeds, usually a little low, but still it varys. The truck sounds as though it sputters a bit while at speed, but not terribly bad, and there is a little hesitation when you start it up. It's becoming progressively worse.

I cleaned the throttle body, and it still does it. I'm guessing that the TPS is bad and someone suggested it could be a idle air control valve. This is driving me crazy, any suggestions would be great...

I am having the same issues. I need to clean the TB....then check the TPS. I also checked every Vacum hose on the thing. One little break or leak can affect these things pretty good if its the right line! Mine has over 205,xxx on it....so I suspect I'll be replaceing vacum lines more often now....!

my .02 worth....at least....

Ends up compression...

...was low on #3 and #1, adjusted valve clearance and replaced shims.$778.50 later by First Team Toyota and my rear was sore, but my truck runs normal again. Dealerships are thiefs!

Ouch? Did they at least use KY? I hope your rear gets better soon.
