Denver May 5th

Taking my Runner out for the first time on Saturday morning. Thinking about runing up to Spring Creek since this may be one of the closest-open trails near Denver. If anyone wants to join it will be two newbies- one in an FJ and one in a runner with dogs...could be comical.

We will meet at the Denver West best Buy around 6:30am...PM if you want to go or, if you know of a good trail with-an hour of Denver that would be fun and semi-technical.

(I'm a Toyota transplant- Had a Jeep for the last 10+ years, so this will be new wheeling experience)

THANKS!!!

Are you on crack? There is NO WAY Spring Creek will be remotely passable yet.

We're doing Bunce School Rd out near Lyons on Saturday if you want to join us. The trail is pretty easy, but there are a lot of side trails and a few obstacles to play on.

yeah, spring creek is very likely buried still. It is one of my favorite trails, but we've hit impassable snow there in dry years into june. This has been pretty wet.

Wheelin'

Lower Spring Creek was my goal- just running the boulders and coming back after my dogs throw-up, WHAT ABOUT running Caribou creek?

Cool Slaughterhouse

Slaughter House sounds like a winner for Saturday- I looked this one up online and looks technical with some mud!

Slaughter is a nice relatively easy trail but fun to do every once in a while. It was actually my first trail way back in '85 (I lived up there through high school) in my friends big 'ol '78 Chevy PU.

I might do it if my plans don't pan out tomorrow.

slaughter house is fun, but not too technical. Should be good, and my folks said that the snow was melting pretty good up by our house, which is only a few miles from there.
