Smile Quad-State Unlimited Off Road (QUORC) trail run for JUNE (open to anyone)

Quad-State Unlimited (all comers) Off Road Club will trying to do a trail run for June

Week of the 30th either at paragon closed , rausch or wharton state park (pine barrens) in PA/NJ. Probably just for the day, unless we could rent a few rooms and split them with others, its to expensive to just rent them with only 2 people to a room for day or night.

Avdian (YotaFun) and I are discussing it, but dont know where to go atm. Depends on who comes, where we go and what kinda trails we run.

This is open to anyone who is interested, we will be running almost all stock trails with stocker trucks/runners and taking it easy. Just a fun run really, nothing to hard or technical.

I'm up for going out on May 27, since it is Memorial Day weekend. That would be a nice time for the first club ride. Will PAP still be open?? OR are we gonna try one of the other places??? Maybe I'll be able to get the XTERRA out on the trails this time also.

Well, for me I can go anytime between the 20-27, and I think we all will stay away from mud this time.

wow, it's a good thing we got in when we did. I can only do weekend runs, and if we do something over night I either have to bring my dog (full-size collie, very sweet, barky around other people though) or find a dog sitter at home.

Paragon was fun but I really like the who national park/state park/state forest thing, because I can shoot art photography stuff too. My vote is for wharton. That and wharton doesn't have a $50 fee to get in the door.

edit: found some shots of other people running wharton, looks like good fun and not too hard.

I'd love to get a BIG group going. 5 rigs is good, mo is betta!

Yea, Wharton dont sound so bad and its not that far from my house. Beware, it is muddy and watery so either fab up a temporary snorkel outta flexible drain pipe or we by pass the deeper stuff.

I am down for it though...

Anyone got a concern for the dates?

I need to do my diff breather, and personally I would just bypass the deeper stuff. I'm saving money for my tires until I can do the 3" ToyTec lift, diff drop, AND get new tires all in the same shot.

Well, diff breather takes 5 minutes Matt-heck I can do it with you at my house if you want to before we go. Avy and Joe will probably be meeting there anyways as well as anyone else who wants to. I only live about an hour from Wharton anyways

I think we can all rig up some flex tubing and run it if we need to, nothing fancy just something that works as I know most of us arent rich these days.

There are alot of bypasses from what I hear anyways just incase.

Oh yea Dave, its super easy to do to any rig. All you gotta do is get a hose barb, you can get it from the dealer (part # 90404-51026 - 3/8" barb) or a similar one from a hardware store.

Then you need some fuel line and you remove the old barb and put it on the top with a hose clamp. Put the new barb in the diff and route the line with some slack into somewhere high and zip tie it in. It really took me longer to get the parts then put it together.

I think that sounds like a plan. I'll probably call the dealer over lunch and source the parts for that and my traction-control defeat mod. that way I can spin my way out of the nasty stuff instead of having the ABS chattering away trying to control the spin.

If you want a plug Matt, I have a 3/16 diameter one that I thought was a wee bit to small but it will work.

dudes, I think I have to bow out of this one. I have to pay some big $$$ to start having my teeth fixed this month. not cheap. :-(

sitll better than the alternative of having to have my jaw reconstructed after the bone gets infected.
