Bucket seat mounts.

I have done some searching but haven't found the answer yet.

I just bought a set of bucket seats from an 88 forerunner. I am trying to mount them in a 94 pickup.

The brackets aren't going to line up.

If I measure right.

The brackets on my bench seat are 16 inches from the front mount to the back mount.

The brackets on the bucket seats are 13 inches from front to back.

Not to mention that their is no hole to mount the inside of the seat to.

I am not a fabricator in any way.

I am looking for a way to just bolt these seats to this truck.

Does anyone one make brackets for this purpose?

Thanks

The Passenger side bracket should be "shorter" front to back than the driver's side.

Is the front mount (parallel to the floor) the same?

If so - ya put the front 2 bolts in.
Ya locate the rear "hole" on the floor pan.
Ya MEASURE so you can make sure that there's nuthin on the underside (like a FUEL line or a BRAKE line) and .....

Ya drill a hole.

Add a freakin huge fender washer and bolt it in... Fender washer is so that the bolt does not "pull through" in an accident.

ok here are my next questions..

The floor is double thickness right? 2 pieces of sheet metal.

You drill through noth panels? Seems like moisture would get in there and rust out your floor.

For the front mount. The side near the door lines up fine.
The inside mount has nothing to bolt to for front or back?

not knocking your idea..just wanting more info please.
