new rims and tires

Well i got my rims back from powder coat, and put some new rubber on them. They are the 5 spoke limited wheels. Put some 265/70/16s on, Peerless Widetrack Baja ATs. Was gonna go for the 75s but the guy said they make for a super stiff ride. Anyway it looks pretty good, and i'll get some pics up after it stops raining and i get it cleaned up.

um, i dont see how a taller sidewall will make it stiffer, unless for some reason the 75 has a significantly stiffer sidewall

Or maybe the 70 series is a P rated tire, and the 75 is an LT rated...

150, but that's because I'm friends with the guy. He said he usually charges around $250 for the set.

The only thing that would make for a stiffer ride with an LT tire is the load range.I have load range C on mine and it rides the same as stock.

Correct, 10 ply is load range E, that would've been a very stiff ride. My load range C's are only 6 ply.
