93 Toyota truck won't start after long term storage

I have a 1993 Pickup, 22REC, automatic, that was parked for about 7 months ran perfect when parked. I charged the battery, the engine turns over but won't fire. Any ideas on where to start would be appreciated.

I wouldn't think 7 month old gas would be a problem but I do live in the south (Georgia) and moisture may have contaminated the gas. I am going to drain the tank, purge the lines, and go from there.

Got spark? Maybe some mice chewed up your wiring harness, it happened to my home AC unit last year.

find any mouse droppings around the truck?
possibly some meices chewed some wires.

check your cold start injector for fuel pressure.
check your plugs for spark.

open the air filter housing, make sure meices havent made a home in there, and then turn your ignition sw on, open the AFM, push the flop open with with your finger, and that will turn on the fuel pump.

make sure that is working, and that will also ensure gas is all the up the line to the cold start injector. now you can be sure fuel is supposed to be at that cold start injector.

Check the big three:

1. Fuel
2. Air
3. Spark/Fire

i'd be surprised if the gas was bad enough that it wouldnt run, but i wouldnt expect it to run well with 7 month old gas unless you stabilized it. as stated above if the truck doesent start you need to check:

-fuel (thats air & gas)
-compression
-spark

with all three of those it should at least try to run

Fuel pump test jumper is an easy thing to try:

My '85 fired right up after being down for about 11 months.
