Toyota Truck & Landcruiser Owner's Bible

Has anyone ever used this book? Is it any good? A synopsis of the book looked pretty interesting (second link):

its a cool book, but most of the info in it is out of date and very general. IMHO

I found it to be a great beginners book for general wheeling knowledge and terminology, providing a wide view of what Toyota has to offer. I would recommend it to any Toyota 4x4 enthusiast. There's not much at all that's "out-of-date", by which I have to believe you mean inaccurate. Maybe you mean it doesn't cover vehicles manufactured after it was published? Then so sorry, too bad for you. For the rest of us.

Hands down BEST TOYOTA BOOK I'VE READ. Not that there's a plethora to choose from.

let me re-phrase, its a good book, I have one. But you will out grow it pretty quickly, and the information it has at that point will be so generalized that it will be kinda useless. Its more of a coffee table book, money would be better spent on a FSM for your specific model and year truck. Again, just my opinion.

Its a good bookshelf book.
Mosel Ludel knows his stuff - but hes IMHO a Jeep guy at heart.
I vaguely recall that some pics are susiciously like jeep pics not Toyota pics...

Its a good beginner book and rather dated (10 years old at this time?)
I do own a copy of his books - the jeep one and the Toyota one as well as the chevy and the Ford one... nice for reference materials.

The Granville King Jeep boot is the best IMHO.
Oh the old "how to keep yer Totoat Alive" book is very dated but great (for beginners)
