Runs hot... then rumbles...

Rumbling... Timing issues
I have been having trouble with the truck rattling and rumbling sometimes once it warms up. Over the last couple of days, I have begun to notice a pattern. I believe it is when I run the heat. What happens is, it warms up to about mid way, then it begins to rumble very badly when clutch and gas is not engaged. I have been battling this since I got it, I have now replaced the thermo, radiator, hoses, and clutch fan. Someone please help, I am tired of dumping all of this money into getting it to run right, when I should be out wheeling...
Thanks
Thanks

Ok it seems nothing to do with the heat. I went out and cranked it up and it is still doing it. I jumped the diagnostic box, and it idled down. So that means the TPS is working correct? Just needs adjusting? Why would it run good for days or hours and then go to crap? When I put the light on it, the timing was jumping all over the place. I did get it set, but the idle continues to be rough...

What changes from idle to when the gas is pressed. When it is running idle (almost cutting off) a simple touch of the gas and all is well. What changes between idle and throttle? is there a sensor or valve that changes?

So, you're saying it's not missing?
Yeah, there is a temp. sensor that could causing this. Let me ask you first, though. Have you tried driving it? Does it die a lot when you get to a stop? Do you lack a lot of power?

Well, it does sound like something is trying to give out. But, don't buy any more new parts, yet.
I don't suppose the CEL is throwing a code, is it? Have you checked it?
Disconnect the TPS, drive it, then see if that makes any difference. If not, start looking at your coolant/water temperature sensor and/or fuel pressure regulator. How old is your fuel pump?
Do you have the FSM downloaded?

Have you seen this? Here's the codes.

Take a look at your ECU and the wiring. See if there's any corrosion. You have multiple issues going on. I'm wondering if the ECU is fritzing on you.
Do you have a digital multimeter?
