motor swap, vacuum line question

Can any one here tell me where the small vacuum line on this round can in the back passenger's side of the engine compartment goes? I just bought this 4 runner (for a great price I might add) and found a motor in a rolled over rig that was in very decent shape and I swapped the two without much trouble but I have this left over vacuum line and I'm not sure where it goes now. Any help is appreciated.http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2775...98906002iBWQKt This isn't my picture but it shows it pretty well. Looks like maybe it goes to the back of the plenum but I don't remember it being there before the swap.

That is the charcoal cannister (traps gas fumes from the tank). The purge line for it connects to the Purge port on the throttle body:

Oh man thanks for the quick response 4Crawler....I guess I had it right from the get go cause when I went out to look at it again the small hose I see is coming from the bottom NOT the top as I said. So it is supposed to be unattached then ......cool. Everything is right I think! Thanks!

Yep. the bottom hose is what supplies fresh air to the cannister as the engine vacuum flushes out the gas vapors. It is just left hanging, usually stuffed into the frame rail or something to keep it out of the way.
