Colo- Yankee Hill Run-Sunday April 15th
Iv'e got a Rising Run Snow run planned for this Sunday the 15th in case anyone is interested.
Sunday April 15th
Let's meet at the cemetery west of Central City at 9am and leave by 9:30am - the normal spot.
For people who have not been there, we meet at a large parking lot near several cemetery's. This is located about a mile or so west of the town of Central City on the road heading up and west out of town. Most of us take the new Central City highway into Central City from I-70.
We will see how far we can get. Expect to run into large snow drifts. Make sure you have tow points so you can be strapped out. This time of year the the road going up will be patchy - so we usually don't chain up in the main meeting spot since there will probably be long sections of dirt road before we get up and into the deep stuff.

The forecast I checked for Central City is saying a total accumulation of about 3 inches by the weekend. Here's what the trail looked like back on April 7th. Hopes that helps.

Yeah, nothing down in Centennial, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Littleton, or Lakewood (all along my commute to work). Sounds like fun though. I won't be attending though, no tow points on the rear, and no chains (if there was snow afterall).
