install playstation in p/u

i just inherited one of those updated PS2 console. its the newer small one. the questioni have is would it be possible to hook it up in my truck with one of those little lcd screens? i saw one in a chevy truck, but what kind of stuff do i need so it doesn't kill my battery. i already have a system in it with two ten inch subs. i think it would fit in my glove box or under the seat. how would i hook it up to the battery? could i just use the cigarrette lighter? any info would help

Bigger isn't necessarily better, the units rated for more wattage are not compatible with a cig lighter hook-up(capable of blowing the fuse quick like). I had to make my own cig lighter adapter for my 700 watt model. If your gonna hardwire one then get the biggest one you can stuff.

PS2 runs at 6 ot 7 volts DC right? Why dont you just run a voltage adaptor straight to the battery?
