Rock sliders not nerf bars can be found at WABFAB on home page under venders advertising. I have a set and will say they are well worth the money and way better then nerf bars.

I had the same problem with my spare tire . I got a brand new one from toyota. I think it cost me about $70.00. it worked for me I have an pickup 89' and needed the bed room . It was easy to install.
Spare tire holder went in with 3 bolts.

its the little mechanism that does the turning to lower the spare that gets all mucked up and seizes. ive taken mine out to attempt repairs but you end up ruining it. might as well bite the bullet and get a new one.

at least you know it will work. good luck.

for good sliders you will need to weld them right to the frame. ive heard of bolt on sliders but people dont regularly use them for a reason
