Help! 1996-1998 4WD Limited 4Runner People!

What does your 4WD shift knob look like? Is it a rubber ball or does it have a button or other stuff on it?

It has the right L-N-H pattern for my cralwer and I need to know a bit more data before ordering one.

Limited or SR5 doesn't matter, same knob for all. Mine is the black rubber one with the usual H2-H4-N-L4 notation.

Mine has a button on it, and the shift pattern is H-N-L.

I was afraid of that button. Looks like I'll just pick up a rubber ball SR5 style one with the wrong patttern.

Thanks

Oh, so you already have the knob, but it's the incorrect one? I'm confused.

I have the knob that came on my truck but I need a second knob. I added another lever that only has a H-N-L patern. The other lever has the L shaped 2H-4H-N-4L.

I am going to order a 2nd knob from the dealer I just did not know which one.

This might clear things up:

2 transfer case levers, 2 different patterns.
