We are taking a trip to the coke ovens this coming weekend. It is a mild trail with a couple of tough spots for stock 4x4. This trail is very scenic and the ovens themselves are a cool site to see.

I might be up for this. Haven't been there yet.

 

It's a decent trail and scenic as mentioned. We took an alternate route out one time and did a neat river crossing. All I remember is that you keep going after the ovens down toward the wash/river and then head out on a dirt road. Lots of sharp AZ rocks along the way so make sure your spare tire is ready to go.
