97 4runner w/ Hoe's, OME's....and pics
Over the past couple weeks my 4Runner has gone from bone stock, to a more than capable trail rig
I just got most of it on over the past few days, so I haven't had much of a chance to go try it out. But so far I'm really happy with all of it. All the big parts are in my sig, if that with pics aren't self explanatory ask...
And now the PICS!
Side shot...

A little flex...

And now some stuffing...

And the Wet Okole's...they're filthy right now from me and the dog

Thanks guys! I'm loving the new look of my runner. There aren't any other 3rd gens around my area that I've seen recently that have very many mods if any (not counting wheels, that stayed stock ride height).
For the seat covers, I'm not sure how they will be when its hot and humid, the warmest its been since I put them in was in the 60's. I figure being made in Hawaii they should be fine for that kind of climate though.
Between my hound and my buddies lab one of them got blood all over one of my back head rests a couple weeks ago. It was on there for about 3 days before I noticed it. I took a wet rag and it came right off, with no staining of any kind, and I just used water, no soap
Pretty cool IMO
Ha, ya the dog makes for a great counter balance when it gets to flexing to prevent a flop LOL!
Those are the 058's in 16x8. Probably pretty similar to the 589's. Yes I do have the larger brakes, and NO they didn't fit. I used washers to get the calipers to clear and put on a little thinner one every couple days until the wheel/caliper ground away a groove where it was rubbing. Then I used a grinder to remove any excess and clean up the rough edges. Turned out to be less than 1/8" probably closer to 1/16" that they were off, and now they fit nice and flush.
