Last Minute Big Bear Day Trip - Thurs 3/15

Heading up to big bear next Thursday. Probably going to do the Gold Mountain-John Bull and Holomb creek run.

That sounds like a lot of fun Josh. Wish I didn't have to work.

Not to thread jack you but I am thinking of a Sat or Sun morning run next weekend to Corral Canyon. I would like to see what it is like after the fires. Also would like to try out the new locker finally. Maybe Carvacre would be better to really see how it does.

Enjoy!

I am near Lake Elsinore...

Any SD guys who want to come up the night before and crash on the couch or floor are welcome.

That would cut down some of the early morning driving.

Just lemme know...

And Seth, you could ride with Josh and spot for us...

Sometimes it's more fun to watch other people break their stuff...

Cannot tell if it is 4x4 or a prerunner from the pics. Need more info.

BTW John bull is really not that bad. There are really only a couple of hard sections and if you have a good spotter it is really pretty easy. I have done it twice with no locker. I do want to go back and see how much easier the new locker makes in it though!

if it's 4wd you should do alright. The armor is a plus. Are you locked in the rear?

Yoda, your truck should make it easy...

Only problem is, its a mid-size truck, not a mini-truck, so you may get some body damage in the few narrow spots that are on trail...
