turbo computer

i just took the turbo parts off my 86. took it back to regular re. i put a regular re computer in it and it cuts out over 3 thousand rpm . when i put the turbo computer back on it runs fine. thanks

do you have all the turbo parts out? including the injectors?

I don't know if that would be enough to kill it, but the turbo injectors are 295 and the stock are 200ish. So the stock computer would be feeding it way too much fuel which may bog it down and kill it.
