Poll : Where to Wheel in Tennessee

Just thought I'd strike while the iron was hot.
Spring is coming I can feel it and from the interest shown on another post I thought we could see if we could come to any consensus on where we can all meet and greet and WHEEL

The pics from an LBL trip looked nice. Summer town has a little bit of everything. Count me in on a trip in later spring... trying to get this suburban off my hands and get a yota truck to trail ride in

I might be up for that. My 96' 4Runner is pretty much stock though, other than the OME suspension and Jardine exhaust, so maybe I could do some moderate trails. My buddy has a 2000 Tundra that may be interested also.

I don't see any of us having major rockcrawlin rigs so moderate to easy will be the order of the day

Seems like a lot of Nashville folks maybe Summertown would be a good "first time", I'm game!!

With everyone plugged in here we can plan around the weather ? Maybe the last part of April ?

Where do you go in Cookeville? Cause I don't know of anywhere legal to wheel in or around Cookeville.

Dunno if you can see the markers on the map, but these are the places we've gone to so far...Exact locations of the trails may be a bit off.

I think windrock has the most to offer, having been there and spending most of a day and not even exploring 1/5 of it, I definatley want to go again.

I would like to see what Wheelin' in the country in Summertown is all about.

I would have voted for all of them....LBL is a bit far, but I like it up there.

You left out Tellico?

Windrock is nice, having been there, a TON of ATV's, and we went in winter, I can't imagine how crowded it would be in the spring/summer - I dont think it would be much fun...

Windrock was pretty crowded when we went a while back with ATV's, (rubbing against the bumper as they blazed by ) but it was a BLAST and we hope to go back soon.

Tellico's a bit far for a Sat. trip, and most of us have not even met. Once we're all acquainted we will hopefully be going there for a full weekend

Most of you guys in cookeville?

My girlfriends live in clevleand, just outside chatanooga, Tellico is only like 45 mins from her, so I guess I think its closer....

and since I drive 2.5 hours one way EVERY weekend to see her, I guess drive times all seem shorter than the really are to me. lol.
