I was poking around on the TRD site this morning and I saw that they have listed TRD lift and lowering springs. Obviously, I don't care much about the lowering springs, but I'd be interested to know more about the lift springs. Anyone know anything about them? Are they Bilsteins?

That looks like the Japan TRD site, and if you'll notice, the truck is right-hand drive. The URL would indicate that it wasn't the Japanese site, but I believe those parts and many others on the site are only available over seas. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

 

I believe you're right about it being the Japanese site, as all price are in yen, and serveral items are specified as for RHD vehicles. However, if they are available overseas, then I wonder what it would take to get them over here. Jason, would you know anything about this?

 

I bought a set of these before I found this forum and before I knew what was out there. I got mine from the TRD stealership. I probably am wrong, but I think these things are from Eibach but marketed under the Waydo (TRD) brand. They are way too pricey. I paid $1200cdn installed.

I wouldn't recommend getting them. These springs make my runner feel like a boat. The lift also wasn't as much as I would have liked. I think it barely raised the fron by an inch, so I had to add a spacer to the front. The rear was lifted about 2.5".

Save your money, I would get SAW's up front and OME's outback.

I think the Eibach theory is sound. They make rear springs for 2nd gens, but I don't recall whether they are for lifting or lowering.
