well i finally , after keeping a neye on ebay , got my load warrior basket . and you wont beleive the price i paid.

$100 brand new $45 for shipping and it even includes the net( not that ill use it too often.

the guy had it listed real funny and i jsut happened acrossed it , and i had to get a couple of questions answered before i put my bid in . he had it listed as a ford luggage rack/basket, which i guess ford is selling the yakima baskets now , but he hada buy it now priceof $145 , and a beginning bid of $100 , ihit it for $100 and paid the $45 for shipping , hes shipping it Fri.

the guy i got it from said he might be able to get more , i have afeeling he works for a ford dealership , but as soon as mine arrives and i make sure everything is good , ill pass on his email and any one interested could email him and see if he can get more at that price. group buy maybe ?

I'm in- I gave up on ebay after seeing nothing go for less than ~200 bucks. Did the fairing come with it as well?

 

did not come with the fairing , and the mounts for it are for a stock ford rack , so youd have to get the mounts . i also found a place to get the light brackets online for a decent price , but their shipping was outrageous , and im not sure if it was for 2 brackets or one . they also have the load warrior extension for under $100, but with shipping it comes outto about the same.

heres what i found out , ford is selling yakima products and they have a different price then yakima dealers do , im going to check out a loca lford delaership and see what the prices are direct from the dealer . i have a buddy that works for a ford parts dept down in cali , i think i might check out what he can get them for at his employyee cost , i dont know if would hook me up like that though , i wouldnt want to cause a problem with losing a job over a few dollers .

i received my brand new load warrior basket today , its exactly what i expected it to be and it came with the fairing and the nett. only thing i have to buy is the correct bar attachments, because this was for a ford product it came with the attachments for a ford luggage rack. butthe price i paid for this was awesome , so its no big deal to me . i emailed the guy to see if he ca nget or has more availble, and i asked him if i can post his email to you guys about getting them , and save himself the ebay charges . im not sure how much he will sell them for , but i got mine for $100 plus $45 for shipping , i think he had a buy it now price of $145 plus the $45 for shipping , so we'll see how much he lets them go for if he decides to sell more.

correction everyone , it did come with the correct brackets to mount it , the brackets they supply are made to fit any type bars , round flat , oblong , triangle , everything , ill haves pics in a little while

opps - no pics til i getthe extension , my bars on my canopy are to far apart and i can only adjust them a inch or so , no biggie i planned on buying it anyways .

I just looked them up new and holy crap they're expensive! I had no idea. My basic Yakima luggage rack only cost $75 new! I just can't see dropping over $250 on a metal basket!!
