Im getting new tires for my truck. Im looking local but the tires from 4wheel parts are pricey. Its cheaper to order them I wonder if theres a place even cheaper.

If i have to i will get either -
the Iroks
or the truxxus MT


a 36inch tire cant be cheap to ship but im tryin to figure out if its cheaper the 4wheel parts.

 

Believe it or not, I think http://www.roughcountry.com/ is just about the best...

I looked first at www.ntwonline.com and thought they were great, then I found http://www.4wheelparts.com and they beat NTW by a little... Then i found that http://www.summitracing.com/ was a little cheaper yet.

Keep in mind that when I compared prices I did it in the checkout and included shipping and mounting/balancing as I got rims and a lift kit too.


My prices were best from Rough Country mainly because they had a shipping cost less than half all of the others.

Anyway, between those four up there they'll keep you busy for a bit...

And I got the same tire you're looking at too. 36x13.5x15 Irok radials.. I can't wait.

Btw, when I ordered I called them up and asked for a deal because i got the lift, rims and tires all from them and I got the tires mounted and balanced, lug nuts, center caps and $50 off the online price.

I got the 4-5" bracket lift, M/T Classic Locks in 15x10, and the Iroks for $2336 shipped. I'm pleased with them...

The TSL's are death on a stick on snowy/icy roads... you can borrow mine (34's) if you want to see what they're like.

I would go with the Trxus M/T's out of those three choices.

 

4 wheel parts was alright. I paid $1300 for 285 BFG AT's a 2.5 inch Daystar and 1079 Procomp Alloys all installed.

 

I love my truxus mts they are only 265s but they are sweet! I buy my tires used with good tread. saves me lots o money.

just to let you know discount tire will match just about anybodies tire prices...I know they match tirerack.com so i assume they match some other internet pricing.

I like them because if i have a problem with the tire i can go look someone in the eye...instead of dealing with them via phone or e-mail

I like buying from a local place (Discount is my choice) since fix-its and rotations are free and convenient to do.

 

Find the best price you can online and go to Discount with a copy of that price. Theyll beat it. Les schab is not the place to go unless you have a flat cause theyll fix it for Free alot of the times thinking that it will buy your service in the future. But dont buy from them it will cost ya alot of $$$ unless you know a person that can get you a deal their.

 

I am in the market for tires right now. I had been looking on my own before this thread was started. I found alot of places that are cheaper than some of the ones listed here. I thought great, I found some good deals. Then I went to the check-out on some of those. With shipping they became insane.

I looked at Discount Tires and they offer free shipping. The tires cost alittle more, but it still comes out almost better. I did find them for cheaper on Tirepackage even with the shipping, but I emailed Discount Tire last night and hopefully I'll have a better price on monday. I'll keep you guys posted.

I'm getting some BFG MT KM mostly because Discount doesn't sell the Baja Claws that I really want. Not a big deal though because all of the ratings say that the BFGs are a great all purpose tire for mild wheeling.

 

Since I recommended them, I should update their progress...

I ordered the rims, lift, and tires from Rough Country last Monday morning and they still haven't shipped. They took the money out of my account the same day and said I'd have the order in 3-5 days, but I was told Thursday that some part of the order had to be drop shipped and they were waiting on that part.

A good deal is only a good deal if it is in hand...
