I seem to have a lot of play between the inside of my left hub and the axleshaft. Maybe as much as 2.5mm. Its hard to measure. That seems like a lot.
Is the shaft supposed to wobble and flop around in there much or any at all?
This is with the hub cover off. It seems to be pretty still with everything assembled.
It may be curtains for this truck if I get the answer i'm expecting. Maybe Shane or Adam F. will sell me the left side if his IFS when he gets the SAS underway.
And no, there is no SAS in my future. I'd rather buy an '85 Runner and start over.

You measure the play on the front of the spindle/axle between the circlip/retaining ring and the nose/face of the spindle. I don't have my manual here, but I think the max is like 2mm or something. I can check tommorrow if nobody chimes in by then.
