Need Bimetallic Valve 1982 Cal emission 22R
I could not find info on this searching the forum so sorry if this has been addressed and I am too frustrated to find it.
I need a new Bimetallic Valve, which is a thermo- vacuum switch type fitting located on the thermostat housing on my 22R Cal emissions engine.
The plastic has Aisin and # 90925 05035, and the brass has # 1J19.
I need specifically this part to operate with the stoopid cal emissions stuff.
I cannot locate this part new locally, and the dealer (if he can get it) is at least two weeks out on it.
Can anyone help with a used one?
Sorry if this is mis catagorized, just thought I would have better luck someone seeing it here than in a parts wanted section

Got it through Champion Toyota all online, took 10 minutes, cost 30.00 (plus a TLCA discount that cancels out the freight). 30.00 worth more than taking a half day off work to drive around the stupid yards in Reno to potentially discover no one has the right one.

And no affiliation with Champion, btw

I am looking for the BVSV. This is the only relevant page I have found. Been surfing the net for three days searching for this damn thing. This little part is the one thing between me and the completion of my engine rebuild. Does ANYONE have a link to a place that sells this thing? I searched for this "Champion Toyota" place mentioned earlier in the thread and the only result I got was some leads to a car dealership that apparently rips a lot of people off. The friendly guys at my local parts stores have informed me that the BVSV is not a real part, similar to the fact that they also once told me there was also no such thing as a PCV. I am having so much trouble finding this part and I am not content with bypassing it or blocking off the port. That doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Any tips leading to the discovery of where to buy this mysterious part will be greatly appreciated.
