TJM installed - 4RUNNER GONE :( pics

I had just installed my new TJM a three weeks ago was driving on the highway 2 weeks ago with my girlfriend when we hit some black ice. The runner slid one way, then off the road and before i knew it we had flipped over and ended up right side up on the access road. Very scary, im just glad we are both okay and we were able to climb out. The whole thing felt very surreal and I was just shocked. Going to file a claim and see how much I can get back, but I'm worried about what's going to happen with all my aftermarket parts. I have full coverage with StateFarm. Anyone have any experience dealing with them. It's a total loss and it's sitting at a wrecker yard right now.

Yeah I noticed that when it all was over, we took out some kind of highway sign.

State farm will take care of you. They have done good for me in the past.

Use your PIP it will not raise your rates.

4runner Gone

FAR AS I KNOW YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BUY IT BACK FROM THEM. LET THEM KNOW YOU WANT IT BACK AS YOU HAVE MANY THINGS IN OR ON TRUCK THAT YOU NEED BACK TO BUILD ANOTHER. I WOULD CALL FIRST THING MON MORN BEFORE THE WRECKING YARD STARTS SWIPPING STUFF OUT. CHECK YOUR TRUCK TO MAKE SURE IT'S STILL THERE BEFORE BUYING IT BACK. HOPE THIS HELPS. & THANK THE BIG GUY IN THE SKY THAT YOU & YOUR WIFFY ARE ALIVE. (GODSPEED BROTHA)

I feel sorry for you. That is such a nice looking truck. Looks to be the same green as mine.

I second the TJM, how much you want for it?

so sorry to hear that man...that was one killer looking runner, must be painful, but not as painful as a serious injury: very good to hear that you and your gf are ok, that's the most important thing...

Glad to hear you guys are fine...

(Personal Injury Protection (PIP) is an insurance coverage for medical and other expenses resulting from an automobile accident) that is what my insurance adjuster used to pay for my first 4runner accident....it covered all the after market ad-ons plus it covered the gap between what I owed and what the insurance deemed the 4runner was worth.....

supposed to be only for medical stuff...but I gave them a hard time about all the stuff I had on the trk, and it was a fluke that the gal that pull a left in front of me had the same ins. company also...so they agreed since I wasn't injured that they would pay me for "supposed injuries" and I'd use that for what I wanted...so long as I provided the reciepts for add-on and signed the waivers....it all worked out great. Hope it does for you too......GOOD LUCK

Thats why I bought a Toyota!
Cause I knew if I got in a nasty accident that I would be able to walk from it!
Sorry to hear the bad news man.
Thankful to hear everyone was alright.
