I cant believe its dead.
finally killed the 85 p/u, I was kinda starting to think that it would never die. I overheated it then continued to drive it and eventually threw a rod thought the side of the engine block. Kinda awesome to see but I was just wondering if anyone had a recommendation of wtb a new 22re.

You have a few choices now:
-keep with the 22r
-swap to a yota 3.4 or v8
-swap to the chevy 4.3L or 350 cu v8.
If I were me and I wanted to keep the cost down, go for plug and play man.

How much are you lookin to spend?
If prices wasn't and Issue I would go for the 1UZ-FE swap...
Or If you don't want that much power, Just do a 3.4L Swap...
If cost is an issue, just stick with plug and play...

as for price. I think ill stay with a 22r or re Im just trying to find out how much each will be. Unless its new im trying to stay under 600. Im having problems with a new one because many want a rebuildable core and as u can see mine is not.
