ill have some more pics to post , after the install, weathers a bit crappy , and the rock rails are in the shop drying , so im going to give them a couple of days to dry out .

also painted my hi lift adapter while we were at it .

What kind of paint are you shooting?

 

its called aue-100, apparently its got rust inhibiter and primer and paint all in one , my buddy , the guy whos painting , uses it all the time on his trators that he rebuilds. he pretty good at it. this paint is pretty easy for a newbie to work with fairly unforgiving , even though i didnt o so well, the one place i painted i got a run LOL. but hes good at it .

if any one has any small parts or pieces that you want to ship or your local and want to bring over what you need painted black with this stuff , i sure could use the practice and id do it cheap , this paint is only sold by the gallon so i have a lot left. mind you i am a very beginner , and i do not have a paint booth , so i wouldnt want any complaining LOL , so it would not be aboslutly perfect , but for my rock rails that are going to get scratched up and need touch ups this works for me .

later this year im going to get some grey to paint my ford f 100 with , but i doubt there will be much left.
