shackles recovery gear

im planning on putting some hooks or shackles on the three points on my runner that don't already have them. I searched for:
shackles, tow point, recovery, and didn't find much. I see SS has the hangers for 150$ a pair and that doesn't include the shackles themselves. How is everyone hanging them and exactly where are you hanging them? There is one factory hook up front that I would like to get a duplicate and put on the driver side up front. So assuming I get one of those I will still need two points in the rear. Any suggestions as for hooks or shackles in the rear? Also, I have my hitch off the runner so I am not going to put a hitch mounted shackle. Suggestions please

the circles are not that stout, and mine are held on by two bolts. Im just wondering if others are putting more metal in there to hold them on?

aftermarket bumper(s), SS shackle hangers, or hitch receiver shackle hanger

that's about it...

bolt pattern for the hook in front is the same as in back. So if you want to take your hook off, run to the 4wd store and get 3 more you'll be fine. 2 bolts securing the hooks are fine as well.

Not sure if, when Loops are mentioned, you're discussing tie down points. You'll find many dissertations on why these should not be used for towing let alone vehicle extraction.

You will probably also fine threads suggesting you use shackles not hooks.

Ultimately its up to you. Be safe.
