Changed brake booster - Won't start now

Here's where I'm at. 90 3vze 4x4

Last week, my truck would bog down and die when I hit the brakes. Changed the brake booster (it was beyond shot) and master cylinder (was totally fine). When I went to go bleed the brake lines, my truck would not start. It cranks, but it will not start or run.

Fuel pump is working.
Plenty of fuel at the rails.
Check my injector resistance - 13.9 ohms across all 6.
Battery is brand new.
Starter is brand new.
Ground(s) - brand new.

What gives?

Obviously check fuses and relays. You got spark? Ever messed with your throttle position sensor or idle screw?

Checking for spark or trying starting fluid will rule out some possibilities. Did you remember to reconnect the big vacuum hose to the booster?

TPS is new.
Have not touch my idle screw.
Fuses are good.
Relay is new.
Fuel pump is working.

Before I removed the upper intake manifold to check the injectors, I did bump the key and open the fuel rail. Fuel sprayed out. It also sprayed when I would simply leave my key in the "on" position. So, I assumed everything up to that point was in good working order- which made me question my injectors.

it cranks and will almost start- dies instantly. So, no... my dumbass did NOT check for simply spark. I'll check them in the morning. Jesus h...

You changed the ground wires, sounds a likely culprit. (Depending on how you do your spark test you can get faulty results)

You say it starts then dies immediately, this indicates it's got the required bits while the key is in the Start position. Maybe the vafm plug isn't seated fully.

Changed all 6 plugs. Started right up. Ran fine until I smelled something funky.

EGR was smoking. Bottom side, below the PS pump.

Removing it completely now to check it out.

So, I'm putting her back together and my dumbsss broke both of the threaded post bolts.

I got them out no problems.

The end that threads into my intake manifold should be m8 1.25, yes? I cant get it to go in more than a couple turns. *sigh*

is there a special name for these? I guess I'm ordering some...
