Ok, I picked up the FJ rotors this weekend and finished cleaning things up on the axle. Started tearing down the E-locker and realized that I didn't get a V-6 install kit. So now I am waiting for that. In the meantime I installed new axle seals and painted it. the hi-steer is going to get a fresh coat of paint along with some new tie rod ends.
Heading to Fla. Wed. for vacation so no work will be done for another 2 weeks.

update;

Spent some time on the regear of the e-locker. had to take it apart 4 times to get it put back together correctly. Took most of the afternoon last week.

Tore down the axle (again), packed all the bearings and installed the e-locker. it is now as complete as it will get before I start cutting. I'll take some pics tonight.

Took inventory of all my items Saturday and realized I still have a bunch of stuff missing. Just ordered most of it today. Its mainly a bunch of small items, like Tie rod ends and spring eye bushings. Small things that will stop progress in a hurry.

Made the time schedule for completion and the schedule for finishing the garage. it had a sink hole in it that has to be fixed before anything gets done on the rig. Tonight we will be working on the forms and getting ready to pour concrete footers this week. then we will worry about the floor.

I think Mike is getting the entire lift from me. That includes the diffs.
After that he may have his 4.56s on the market that would make a big difference for you.

Are you going to Tellico this year?

OK, Its been a while since I have updated theis thread.
Been busy working on the front gearing and the axle. I got everything mocked up and ready for install. I also took the time to make a list of everything I needed for the job. Here is a pic of the axle almost ready to go in.

GOt sidetracked this weekend and picked up some stell wheels cheap! Took them to the garage and blasted and repainted them

Here is a before pic. Notice the scratches.....

Here is an after pic. After John Deer black paint..

We are still working on the sink hole, and when that is fixed, we will start on the SAS. Everything is coming together now and I almost have all the parts needed.
When it happens, it will happen fast!

Thanks Chris!
I have been chomping at the bit to get this going, and it seems I keep running into road blocks. But, it will be done and right the first time. I am looking to have a reliable and streetable rig that I can take anywhere without thought of breakage. None that will leave me stranded anyway.
