I got a couple of weeks till i can send it off, but i think im gonna use Mcgumegills engine performance in muncie $450 for labor, unless someone else knows where i can get i done cheaper.

Anything fun goin on guys? My only fun is replacing my other CV axle and figuring out what is making a vibration in the rear end. I thought it was U joints but when I went to remove the drive shaft, the flange that the shaft bolts to on the rear end has about an inch of slop which isn't right... I don't know what causes that as I've never done a thing to a rear end.

never mind about the rear end question... the pinion and all of that crap in the stump on my rear end is bad... trying to find out how much to fix it... may just throw my other rear end in it instead. Not easier but cheaper for sure.

an inch of slop is about right. when you set your backlash 2 .007-.009 it will give you about an inch of slop in the rear end. i know that feels pretty loose but that wat toyota calls for

Well that would explain why both of my rear ends have the same amount of slop in them. Thanks man... back to trying to figure the vibration then lol
