our campus uses a really expensive spam appliance. forget the name.
at first, i thought it wasnt working, but i have noticed a sharp decline in the crap i get.
but deep down, i still want the ultimate control.
that's why i like mozilla's spam filtering.
granted it's not 100%, but i want to check spam folder due to false positives...

I use spamassian on my mail server. It puts a big dent in the spam. And it's free.
If you have big bucks, you can route your mail to message labs, and they clean it, and foward on to your mail server.
