Win Media Player 10

Does anyone have this yet?
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...0/default.aspx

It is not available from the Update site, so I though it might be in beta still.
If not, I may DL it today.

More info sent to me from Drew

I regret moving to 9, I think I'll stay there.

It seems it just gets more cluttered and bloated every year.

I don't want to be able to use every crappy service they can think of, all in one window. I just want to be able to play my bloody media. Maybe it's just me.

I am with Scofo on that one! I'll wait and see if it's worth upgrading to 10. The only thing I like about nine is that you can grab a skin and make it small, but I don't care for the media guide (advertising), and the premium services (also advertising). Also for copying & burning cds there is better software available (nero).

"... bloated every year". -Scofco

Good comment Scofco.

Microsoft is making Media 10 take on the attributes of WINAMP, with the use of Nabster and the spying capability of a spybot on steroids plugged into Real player. I choose the ol' dependable classic media 6 or 4. It's not bloated with extra plugins I don't need.

iTunes people, iTunes!!!! It really is the most comprehensive audio player out there. Use WMP only when ya gotta!

I use Winamp 2.91 and DivX Player 2.1 for my audio and visual needs.
Even Winamp 2.91 has too much crap for my liking.
