I have Comcast in MD now and am fairly happy with the service. No problems. I have DSL in SC, although not Verizon DSL I'm fairly happy with it as well. Although its not as fast as Comcast, its less expensive. I can deal with the loss in speed since for normal web surfing is what I do most of the time I dont notice a difference.

My question is, simple and dumb. I couldnt find the answer on Verizons webpage so I emailed then. I have yet to get a responce, of course its only been about an hour. Anyway....do I have to have Verizon phone service for their DSL service?

My current DSL service does not require that I use their phone service, since they know with wireless phone popularity this day in age not all people have phone service at all. Which is why I dont need or want a phone line. Will Verizon do this?

If they wont I'll stick with Comcast.

so i got a responce from my email question....they said they couldnt answer my question via email and I would have to call them....hehhe lame
