Better buy it today!
And get yourself a microphone too since we run VOIP on it.

Kick my ass, I do not think so
Who do you think that is in the rubber suit in the video below

While there, do not forget the game

What vid card do you have?
UT 2004 claims to work on all kinds of cards, and if the card is not super 3D, it can use a software mode and still look good.
The game runs like gravy on mine, even at a much higher res than 1024x768 which I normally play at.

You might have to order the game online, or try a specialty PC gaming shop.
It also comes in DVD now, but do not install the 2nd DVD, or the extra stuff on it.
It is modded games, and you really do not need them as most servers are not running the stuff.

Hey, I will upload a cool tutorial vid a bit later so you can get the feel of the game too besides some of the vids I have posted here.

The game has built in tutorial movies.

K cool and what do you think of buying games off of eBay... I know it could be risky with the CD-Key and all...

Like right here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ory=62053&rd=1

All of our software is BRAND NEW - FULL VERSION
complete with cd-key
NO COPIES
Great selection & prices - Satisfaction Guaranteed

About $17 bucks for that one right there... but I have seen them all over on eBay for cheaper... that say brand new...

Ian, I know nothing about buying games off of Ebay, but I suppose if they were pirated, they would have been shut down by now.
If you feel comfortable about it, go for it.
Just make sure you have it and all of the maps and patch installed for next weekends frag fest

4Roc, yes, nothing like the original UT.
I still play the original from time to time, but I like 04 better.
I do play the old Facing Worlds remake CTF game in the new one, and also play the newer Facing Worlds too.
A little different, but I like the old style FW better.

Editing some tutorial vids, stand by...

Only uploading one, as the Deathmatch one was pretty big, even compressed.
The Capture The Flag one below compressed to around 4.3 MB or so.
You can double tap the vid too once it starts up to make it go full screen.
The map in the vid is the remake of Facing Worlds from the old game, but the newer FW.
Good map to play.

Cool.

Hey, besides the Teamspeak voice applet I have mentioned elsewhere here, check out Xfire.
I have a post in the computer section here, and as you can see below, I can embed my profile here.

It shows what games I have played today.
The cool thing is if one of you friends is online playing, you high light their name and click to text message them while they are in game, or you can also right click their name and join the same game they are in as long as you have the game too.

Ok Corey I have downloaded all these already so I don't have to do it when I get the game...

1) Bonus Pack
2) Patch 3355
3) CP Vol. 1
4) CP Vol. 2
5) Dana Map
6) xFire - iGGzZ
7) TeamSpeak 2

Should I get anything else?

It looks like you are all set.
If you have a cordless mouse like I do, or even a corded mouse with buttons on the side like mine, you can asign one of the side buttons for Teamspeak.

I use the side button that is closest to the bottom.
When you wanna talk, just click the button and hold it in.
It is still easy to use the fire button to attack.
Also both parties can talk and hear at the same time which makes VOIP just like a telephone.

We do turn off Teamspeak during the week though, it is only running from Friday evening until Sunday evening to save on bandwidth.
You just enter Andy's IP of the UT server into the Quick Connect and you are set to go.
If you wanna test out the VOIP later in the week, I can turn it on briefly Thursday night and you can try talking to me.

Yeah I got the VOIP all set up for now... I just use the microphone from the webcam on our computer...

And for the mouse... I just have a standard 2 button with the wheel in the middle... but..... it doesnt use a ball but a laser... so ha....right now I have it assigned to the wheel being pushed in... probably wont work well but I'll change it...

Now I just need the damn game!

Well Corey I finally got the game today and it is installed... but I have an error! I did install the 3355 before the bonus pack before the bonus pack said I needed to upgrade before I could install it!

So is that the problem? And do I have to reinstall the whole game?

This game took longer to install then any game I have ever played...

Never mind I got it to work... I am testing out the server right now... no lag but no ones in it I dont think either...

I just installed the 3355 patch again over everything...

Can you change the controls on the game at all?
