MSN Messenger 7.5
I use mostly AIM, but with Trillians interface, but also have MS Messenger 4.7 installed, as my two sons have it, and I can yak with them with it.
I just saw on MS's site that 7.5 is out.
When updating my current one, do I uninstall the current one, or let the new one overwrite it?

You can't uninstall the current one without doing a little hacking to your system's setting files. Google it and I'm sure it'll come up. However, I'm sure the newer one will take care of the older one for you since you're not supposed to be able to install the older.

Hey Corey to uninstall the old msn mesenger 4.7 I think just go to Start... then Run and copy and paste this in there:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%INFmsmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
I did that and it removed the old one... its kind of pointless to have two...

I just got rid of the old link to start up the old app.
This rocks.
It has cool backgrounds, and my youngest son logged on and put up a background pic I took of him out camping around 1988 or 89 of him when he was around 2 or 3.
The nudges are pretty cool too.
I like it better than Trillian and AOL IM.
