Price Range ~$1000 (not including monitors)

Specs and requirements:

At least 4 gig RAM (would prefer 8-16)
3 monitors (22'' or bigger, which will be added later)
5.1 Sound card
video card (able to support photo editing and possibly video editing)


Biggest thing I am looking for is fast. I like to run FF, WMP and TB email at the same time, and this is a minimum. Photoshop really slows my comp down and I can't listen to music at the same time.

If this was your computer and you were going to build it with these things in mind, what parts would you buy?

I am kind of clueless when it comes to mother boards and processors and the like, so explanations would be helpful.
