Firefox - IE compatibility
I've been a big fan of Firefox since its release. Lately I have noticed more and more webpages do not display correctly on Firefox as they do on IE.
Anyone else noticed this??

I just added the 'view in i.e.' extension, allows me to left click in any window and reopen it in ie, or right click on a link to open in ie. I don't use it very often, but it is nice to have the option sometimes.

Firefox will not support active X like IE does. Some malicious sites use Active X to download executable files to your computer.
I use firefox becuase it is more secure on the internet than IE, AND my system is running Linux, so IE will not work anyway.

I've been designing a lot of web pages lately and been previewing them in both IE and Firefox. I'm not to the point of anything fancy though. Simple pages even show up diffferently. I try to get them as similar as possible between the two browsers. I use Firefox for the security issue also.

Anyone using a the popular WYSWYG's to create sites will cause dificulties. Microsoft's Frontpage is horrible for viewing from any browser other than IE. I've always used Firefox. I wish that they would resurrect the cool dragon logo from the pre-fox icon days of Pheonix. I keep IE around for the one sight that doesn't load correctly and for idiots who instictively correlate the "e" with the www.
