I can't figure it out for the life of me, but the only way I can visit this site, and this site ONLY is if I go through a proxy.

I'm starting to think my IP is banned or something...

If I'm not banned, then why the heck would this be the only server that I can't access. It gives me a TCP error while using my normal IP, but when I go through a proxy the site opens up fine.

 

If you were banned, you wouldn't be able to log into YT. Hence you wouldn't be able to post under your screen name.

So you've got other problems.

 

If you were banned, it would say "Guest" under you name instead of registered user.

I can look tonight though to see if there is an IP range that may be blocked.
Perhaps your PC just got a new IP from your ISP that falls into a banned category.

PS, you will have to PM me your IP that you think is banned.
The one here from this post is not in the "banned" list, but as you said, you are going through a proxy.

I'm starting to think my ISP has blocked my IP from connecting to this site.
They are known to do dumb crap like this, so if this is the case, I'll be switching to a new provider ASAP.

I'm trying to get ahold of them, but of course, nobody answers their phone anymore.

It's a very strange thing, I've never seen anything like it before.
It's not a browser related problem, as I've used several browsers, and they all won't access it. Soon as a switch to a proxy though, it opens right up.

Very odd.

Plug your IP in there, and see if you get the same run time errors I am getting.

I just looked at the IPs that are banned here, and yours is not one of them, or even part of it.

Try contacting your tech support and see why they are blocking us.

sometimes I just need to unplug the modem, turn off the computer, and let it sit for a minute, and then replug the modem, and restart the computer and everything works fine

 

Looks like my ISP has figured it out.
He said he was going to look into it farther after I finished on the phone with him.
Works now!
