Has anyone utilized a 3D printer for anything vehicle related yet?

 

Did you have something specific in mind?

 

Not overly, was thinking maybe custom interior pieces, or replaced under the hood parts, not sure.

I'm still fascinated by the technology, and was wondering if anyone had started to implement it with vehicle tinkering.

 

Dead thread, but so far ive found some speaker adapter/mounts that im going to use and screw grommets for the trim around the door that ive printed and work great.

If anyone has more ideas or cad/stl files of some more toyota parts id be interested in printing or trying them out.
