Scanner Install

Put it in last weekend. I knew there was a better use for the that space below the radio!

Did you do anything to mute the tunes audio when the squelch opens on the scanner?

What model is that? (edit: n/m, found it. Nice rig!)

Have you heard about the rebanding of the 800mhz freqs?

Does that little pocket under the radio just pop out? I just bought a Cobra classic 29 and want to have it installed like your scanner. Looks ver y clean...and utilizes that space better too lol!

I don't listen to the radio very loud. It is more just background noise most of the time.

I have been trying to keep up with it. I'm a member there also. It looks like I am relatively safe with the Pro96 & Pro2096. I will probably just need a firmware upgrade...but all that appears to be a year or so away. By that time, I will probably upgrade to a newer, better scanner!
