Me and friend of mine were cleaning out his garage and I came across an 8-9' marine CB antenna. I gave him a couple of bucks for it. So my question is would it be possible to build a stand for it and use it as a base station antenna? I have an old cb lying around that I could use with it. I was thinking I could take it up into the mountains and use that big antenna and could get some pretty good range. Just a thought
