Okay guys I just installed my Cobra WX 18 in the lower DIN (Below the radio)
CB is working great, looks good (Pics Soon)

My question is where to mount the MIC, and Clip ? what have you guys done ? Pics would help too. I'd like a few ideas and find out what works best.

 

I don't leave my mic hooked up all the time, so this is more of an as-needed solution.

I used the little hook thing that came with my CB, bent it a bit, and jammed it in the crease near the top of the dash over the center console. Hard to explain, but I'll see if I can get a pic for you.

 

I got a PRO FIT for mine, attached the clip hanger to it, and hung the mic on that. It has lots of holes in it for lots of mounting possibilities.

 

Do you have a console, or a stick?

I'd like to get one of those retractable cable things then hang it from my rear view mirror for easy access when my attention is required elsewhere (so i dont have to look down to find it).
