CB Radios in general

What exactly do yall use CB radios for offroad? If it's to communicate between cars, is it easy to find a band (or channel, i dont know how they work) that no one else is on so it can be restricted to just those onsite? Also, are there any rules or licensing needed to use one? Are you required to have a call sign or anything like that? Thanks!

to talk to other rigs on the trail. i know that one club was going to make a run at a adventure park and they said you must have a cb and the gave a channle to set it on for the club. and as far as rules go for a CB radio you dont need any license or call sign to have one. but if you get a HAM radio an amature license is required.
