XM/SIRIUS in a first gen 4runner?
Anybody have xm/sirius in a first gen 4runner? Where did you mount the control unit? Too bad they don't make one that fits below the radio utilizing the double-din.

Ya.. I got XM... here is a pic of where I mounted it... the damn sticky patch stuff that comes with it kinda crapped out on me so I need to find some more... lol cant think of what its called... I think it just got to hot and fell off...

I might have some other pics of it in my cardomain... check the signature...

If you don't already have an aftermarket stereo, I'd recommend getting one which can digitally control XM/Sirius (depending on which service you're going to use). I have a Kenwood (does XM and Sirius) and I plan on getting the antenna and tuner unit. I have an Alpine unit in my '05 Subaru with Sirius and the sound is much better than some friends I know who have the add on units. Plus, the sound quality overall by just adding an aftermarket stereo is well worth the upgrade.
