Run the power cable to the amp under one side of the 4Runner under the carpet and run the RCA cables under the other side. This is done to keep the signal cables from picking up any engine noise that might be radiating from the power cable. You know that high pitched whine you hear in some cars?

Okay today I went out and bought the stereo harness, i then went to best buy and they were going to charge me $80 for this amp kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WD1V and 49.99 for the install of the amp with free installation for the subs. So if i go the Best Buy way which warranties for life it comes out to $180 w/box. If i do it myself i can get that kit off ebay for $60 + $50 for the box, what should i do. .
Now how do i remove the plastic surrounding/dash piece around the stereo. ive removed the piece around the shifter before but does the top just snap out like the bottom? Thanks guys
