subs in extra cab cubbys
in the back of my 02 extra cabs are those cubbys on the back bench, i was thinking about puting a eight inch sub on each side of the truck, has anyone done this, what subs would you get and how will it compare to the 10inch aluma pro i have behind my seat now.

I've been looking at all 8's for my kickpanels.

Here is an auction for the CDT's... The physical store is in Forked River, NJ.
I e-mailed them and asked if I can walk in and get them for that price, and they said yes. When I went there, the guy I was dealing with in the e-mail wasn't around, and they wanted to sell them for $110 each. (I think it was $110, if not it wasn't far off $100-$120)
I would have been P-O'd if I went that way just for the speakers, but I was in that area anyway, so I didn't mind.
EDIT: and thre is always something along these lines. (turn down sound)http://www.xtremekreations.com/fabrication.html
I would not do it though.

IMHO, when it comes to subs, there is only one - JL Audio.
Unfortunately, I hear they are not making the 8W6 any more, and the 8W7 is just too damn deep (distance from top of surround to back of magnet). I had ONE 8W6 in my '89 for sound quality (8 - 12W0 for SPL) and many people thought I had the wall on!
