stereo replacement in 2nd gen Runner
Anyone done a radio replacement in a 2nd gen Runner? Is there any sort of write up on here?
Basic question is how do I get the old one out? How much of the dash do I have to remove and how does it come off?
I bought a plug (actually 2) that should permit us to wire the aftermarket stereo to the plugs and then plug into the truck without any direct rewiring so I hope it will be easy once we get the old one out.
Randy in Winnipeg where it is fairly warm right now so we want to do this quick as it will be done outside!

ALL of the lower plastic pieces... inluding the heater control panel.
after you have torn into it a few thousand times? about 3, including the glove box...
