Got the idea and want for 6x9's in my 92 Single Cab. It is an Automatic with a bench seat wich is what made this even possible. With a drill, sawzall, rip saw, carboard mock up and patience, I was able to fab up this console. Added and extra cup holder and had to add a change holder to since with this setup the nice factory one will be covered. They do make extension cigarette lighters to that could've come into play but I never use mine. Here's some pics of what I came up with, it's not pretty due to lack of proper tools for the job lol. Open to any criticism, input, questions. Just figured id share and possibly spark some ideas for yall out there with the tiny 4" speaker troubles. I've seen the 6 1/2's mod and even some speakers behind the seats but I like my space back there and wanted a console anyhow! Plus a spot to mount and clearly see my Cobra Classic!
