I would recommend a panel popping tool. It makes the process very quick and easy.

I was wondering about this as well. A panel popping tool is a must, but what about all the electronics i.e. the power mirrors, locks and windows? Don't you need a separate tool for these? I sure don't want to snap plastic by pulling in areas I'm not supposed to.

A panel popping tool works, I have done it by hand before with good results, what works ok is a golf tee puller..
